Lovecraft Country Wiki

Season 1 is the first season of HBO's series Lovecraft Country. It premiered on HBO on August 16, 2020[1] and ran for ten consecutive episodes.

On July 2, 2021, HBO announced that the series would not be returning for a second season.[2]

Lovecraft Country follows the trio on a road trip across 1950s Jim Crow America in search of Freeman's missing father. The journey begins a struggle to survive and overcome both the racist terrors of white America and the terrifying monsters that could be ripped from an H.P. Lovecraft paperback.
